Welcome to the home page for a small collection of simple + beautiful designs I’m calling the Cinch Bag Series!

About the Cinch Bag Series

All bags in the Cinch Bag Series begin with the exact same pattern (and it’s all single crochet!), and use variations in color and surface detailing to produce unique designs with tons of personality. Whether you whip up a couple for yourself or for gifts, these easy-level patterns will make any newbie crocheter feel like a seasoned pro.

LOVE these bags! I can’t believe I hadn’t already ” Liked” the yarn and Chai FB page yet – ugh silly me. Also, I haven’t heard of LOVE Crafts before – is it a store like WEBS? Thanks!

LoveCrafts started out as LoveKnitting, then added LoveCrochet, then expanded to fit lots of crafts under the name LoveCrafts. They have lots of yarn and patterns on their site. Similar to WEBs, yes 🙂

Rebecca, You’ve done it again!! Thank you so much for designing three stunning bags. My question is I have a lot of 24/7 cotton it’s a medium 4 Lions brand on hand would that work as well?
Thank you again. Stay well Be happy

I think you would be fine using 24/7! It might end up slightly larger, but 24/7 is a pretty thin #4 so I wouldn’t worry too much. The yarn itself is always great for bags 🙂

These looks great, but I need to finish off some of my wips first!

Just a quick heads up, I couldn’t get the facebook login option to work for me to enter the competition. I managed via the email option instead though.

I am currently working on the Malia Shoulder Bag and the Malia Christmas Stockings (hopefully to have done by the holiday season!). I can’t wait to start on one of these too! Not just beautiful, but so useful. Thank you, Rebecca. I am so glad to have found your site and plan to get my All Access Pass ASAP!

Awesome bags! And I’ve loved anything mudcloth since first seeing it done in crochet. Your patterns are beautiful.
